We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JMeter for performance and load testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD integration, along with a solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure applications can handle expected user loads and perform efficiently under stress conditions. You will design, develop, and execute performance test strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance & Load Testing

  • Design and implement performance testing strategies using Apache JMeter.
  • Develop and maintain performance and load test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Execute non-functional testing such as:
    • Load Testing
    • Stress Testing
    • Endurance (Soak) Testing

Automation & Framework Development

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

  • Support automated test execution in build and deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure test coverage and quality gates are maintained throughout the release lifecycle.

Collaboration & Monitoring

  • Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Architecture teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Monitor application performance using monitoring and analysis tools.
  • Validate performance improvements after code changes and deployments.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare detailed test plans, scenarios, and performance test reports.
  • Log defects and track issues using tools like Jira.
  • Maintain documentation aligned with QA best practices and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on expertise in performance and load testing using Apache JMeter.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience in API testing fundamentals (REST, JSON, XML).
  • Experience with tools like Postman for API validation.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.

Automation & Framework Experience

Key Responsibilities
